Compared to all the other horrible artist impressions of the MKVII, this one isn't so bad. Thought i'd share

The red stripe continuing all the way around the headlights is definitely interesting, can't tell if I like it or not yet. The whole 'sleeker' look isn't really working for me though, I actually love the head/tail light proportions of the MKVI as is.

The HP bump may be smaller than previously thought? VW may just go with a more aggressive KO3 tune rather than make the jump to using a KO4. IMO unless they go with the KO4 they are falling behind the market.

Someone posted this article in TCL a few weeks back.. I don't understand why the Detroits keep showing up on artist renderings

I'm not digging the Passat whiskers up front or the red stripe continuing to the headlights...too much going on. Can't wait to see the real thing!

Red stripe through the headlights I find somewhat tacky.

And I'm really tired of the Detroits after 6+ years. Didn't like on day-1, still don't like.

The rest I could easily live with. Elsewhere in this forum are comments on new diesels for Golf. Could we see a GTD perhaps for MkVII? Please.

Right now I'd settle for the new 1.8T with 6-speed stick in the current MkVI. (sigh)

HATING the tail lights. A little too alien/X-Files for my taste. Not sure about the red stripe following the lights either. Otherwise, look great!

With the current Audi 2.0T (except A3) engine getting 211 hp and 258 ft lbs of torque and this article stating 217bhp and 251 ft. lbs. My guess is this is the engine they think it will be.

Still a sizable jump in torque from the 200 hp 207 ft lbs of the current car.

Also seems to be a lot of speculation and little really known.
