1997 Jetta GLX Vr6 Rebuilt motor and Tranny

I am forced to sell this car because I am leaving for the military. This car is my baby and I have put over 5k into it and it was worth every penny. It has a brand New rebuilt motor and a 5 speed manual transmission with only 130k miles on it.
Only 3500 miles on the motor. I have replaced almost everyhting in the car and reupholstered the whole interior exept seats. A couple cosmetic flaws and drivers seat is torn but its hardly noticeable also a 10 speaker sound system that is already wired for subs.

This car is fast and has new tires(front) it will run a 15 second 1/4 mile at firebird.

Brand new carpet! Leather Heated seats Power locks. Tinted Windows CLEAN TITLE.

This Car is reliable, it has taken me to san diego and portland without a single Hiccup. With this car, ou are buying reliability and a car the with last you another 200k miles.

It also has a sun roof. Needs a new cable before it can be used again, the motor is fine though. It only flips up, doesnt slide back.

The Bad:
The worst part about this car is the body, one dent under passenger side door and a rust spot on the rear wheel well.
If you can live with that, the car is amazing performance wise and reliabile.
Also passenger side door does not lock. Havent looked in to it.
An occasional tire rub when braking and turning left due to the larger 17 inch Monte Carlo rims but wheel spacers will take care of that.

Classic vw problem, the speedo tends to quit on occasion.
