Wow, I wouldn't exactly call this one a "kit" car.

    Intro:

    Fuel tank, interior:

    Engine:

    Engine part 2:

Wow, I knew that if you ordered a Z06 or a ZR-1, you can assemble the engine at the factory. But the crate motor too? Whoa

There's a couple of parts that's left out on the youtube page. One part dealt with the initial fitting of the body, doors and lights install.

Another part that I couldn't find was the transmission. They picked one from a Porsche 997 Turbo At first I was like, hey, on the 911, the tranny is built for rear engine. So if you drop it in a mid-engine car, it'll go backwards. Then the host explained that scenario and said they'll just turn it upside down. They had a company modify the transmission's lubrication system so it will work upside down and install a special limited slip differential.

Can't wait to see how the project turns out.

Stacey is awesome. I miss him from the old Extreme 4x4 days on the powerblock.

In for later though. It's too late to watch right now.

The history lesson was a little dubious, there... check your facts there David.

I will still call it a "kit car". A modernized one.
