im new to the g60 world and i recently acquired a full g60 swap. i have a rebuilt 1.8 pl 16v with about 1000 miles on the motor. ive got arp head bolts and the paper headgasket. i am also running on megasuirt 2. question is, can i boost this motor safely with the stock pulley size and stock compression? the engine is bone stock. i searched but seem to find conflicting answers all over. also is there any way to get around having the use the g60 throttle body? can i just run a BOV instead?

I would at least run our low compression gasket and some ARP head studs.
Also we have our 16v Ltd. conversion kit...will make your conversion much easier...save you tons of time and maybe even a headache.
