    i like this look

even though i can see tire stretch just curious since I don't like the look of stretch i'd rather install lower profile tires. if possible.

I guess stiffer springs like 400lb springs and rolled fenders

The fenders on the clipper kit are fiberglass, I believe. Therefore you cannot roll them without crushing them. Lose the clipper kit and maybe you can achieve the stance you want.

In a word.......no. You can't have it both ways. Stretching a tire nearly an inch is a world's worth of width as far as offset/poke is concerned. You can put rubber bands on the wheels but that's just going to create gap between the well and the tire and if you lower it enough to defeat that gap the suspension will still travel straight down if you are close to the panel and the tires will rub fierce.

You can do what I'm doing, wait out the fad...

That's only 1.5 inches of stretch, perfectly safe.

Wheels that fit are ok too. No point in running an 8 if you're just going to run a 175.

Tucked 'n low is the way to go.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

start iff with low pro 16" tires. but theres a reason for the stretch to allow the wheel some movement in the fender without having a horendous gap which imo looks like utter crap.

mine is pretty much the limit for low and wide with out the stretch and i dont like it they either need to be stretched or tucked!
