FLORIDA'S CORRADOS

Been toying with this idea for awhile. In an effort to get a better local listing of owners, and strengthen the local Corrado community, those who own a Corrado in Florida may "register" here if they wish. All in all It would be nice to see one for every state, but that is just way too much for me to take on. So each state to their own if someone wants to start their own local one . I'll update/edit this as much as possible in the original post. Please update if you've sold/totaled also...

ALSO FEEL FREE TO POST FLORIDA/CORRADO CONTENT!!! Sightings, junkyard finds... Whatever!

I hear of Corrado sightings from friends/coworkers, so curious to get a better figure as to how many of us are around and strengthen the community. Also would be a good way for noobs to get in touch with the community locally. It would be nice to see one for every state, but that is just way too much for me to take on. So each state to their own if someone wants to start their own local one. I'll update this as much as possible in the original post...

Pinellas County. Largo. Blue Pearl 1990 G60 pretty much stock other than airbox/carbon canister delete.

Yup he is still there, I don't know him, but thats the only corrado I see regularly. Every once in a while I see are dark green one that is super clean from what I can tell. Never saw it not moving.

Yup he is still there, I don't know him, but thats the only corrado I see regularly. Every once in a while I see are dark green one that is super clean from what I can tell. Never saw it not moving.

The green one must be Deans, he's got two actually the one you saw is a VR6 and the other is our old project, it was a VR6 that we got we some minor front end damage but we fixed most everything and swapped in a 1.8t 20V, it runs but it needs to have the cooling system finished. We sold him the project only a couple of months ago.

There's a couple more in the area, I know of a Red VR6 and a Silver VR6 but I don't think they're here on vortex.

Yea unfortunately not all C owners are on Vortex(should be mandatory! ) but I'm hoping 70%+ are on here. Sound about right? Hopefully through here we can get them to join

I've only seen 1 other c running around Tampa.

I'm restoring mine right now. Maybe next year it will b road worthy. PITA to DIY everything ur self to save on the $.

Thanks, I'm adding a Rieger kit soon, but I'm kind of apprehensive about it. I keep telling myself that i could just buy a spare front bumper, but still having trouble convincing myself I want to do it.

As long as u keep the OEM and can revert back, its no biggie.

My last c had some things done that I couldn't back to OEM. PO work wouldn't allow it.

I'm in the same situation right now. PO completely deleted the rebar and gutted the skin for the intercooler. Currently looking for a G60 bumper skin. Anyone see one available lmk willing to do a little driving for one

ASAP! Unfortunately many are down right now (engine rebuilds, resprays, turbo builds, and wiring issues to name a few locals) which will ultimately always be the case but i'm all about a Florida GTG. It'd be nice to see a VW GTG with more Corrados I could count on 1 hand. Not to mention it would make for one insane .....

^^^ I figured a lot of Rados were down, weren't any familiar ones at the last Fixx Fest.
I think most that attend are from out of town anyway. Pretty rare in these parts.
