I've looked through the FAQ for this solution but their are too many iPod brands to find a clear answer.
I bought and installed an " original ipod adapter from VW` . I have separated the tri adapter from the back of the radio nav unit, installed the ipod connector, connected the `brown wire as per instructions and when I push the CD button it says their is no cd player available. So is there another wire or two...three that I need to splice from the old CD connector into the new ipod connector.
