Should be a good turnout tomorrow. I'll have to miss it though since I'll be in Pittsburgh

Taking this weekend off from C&C. In some serious need of some much needed sleep. Sure something incredibly cool will show up.

Hey what camera/lens are you using for those shots? Maybe I'll try and come down there for the first time this year before it starts to feel like a bayou even at 7:00 am. I saw an F40 for the first time in person there last year- unforgettable.

This is only ten min from my house and somehow I've never been

I don't know why I just always forget - and the weekends I remember, something always seems to come up on Saturdays. Hopefully I can make it in the next two weeks.

Canon 60d. Was using a 18-135 for a few, and a 50mm 1.8 for the exaggerated DOF ones.
Bro, do you even lift? When you only have 90 horsepower, you don't ever lift.

Out... I'm with David on this one. Need sleep. Besides, this venue is a haul for me. It was easier to swallow with the VWOA HQ / Dubhaus meet.

If you'd been at Houston's earlier this month, you'd have seen a McLaren F1. Come down some first Saturday for it.

Katies Coffee/Old Brouge - at the corner of Walker Rd. and Georgetown Pike. Plenty of parking around for all the junk as well

Definitely will let you know next time I'm out there. I may try to go back out on 4/28, but we'll see what the gf has to say about that.

Good excuse for us to visit the sister and bro in-law. I need to make it, such a car nut and I have never been to a C&C. Figured moving to Austin would let that happen... nope.

Come out to C&C on the 28th. I'll see if she will roll out w/me. She has said she wanted to check it out.

She has NOT been in the Bunny yet. I'll see if I can talk Jason into bringing his white Rabbit out as well on the 28th(weather permitting).

The weather should be nice in the morning, so I'm sure it will. With most of TCL taking the weekend off, you might even be able to find a place to park.

Just be wary of the Ffx Finest. They have a Decibel meter, and they aren't afraid to use it.

No worries, I'll be riding in my bone stock car tomorrow. I hope there isn't a lot of park police on GW tho...

944 - It's nothing special by any means, but I wish it ran as good as it looks

Ironically, today I drove the GTI more than I probably have total in the last month

David's Rabbit is the real deal. It tingles my VW fan inside me that I try my hardest to suppress.

EDIT: Just noticed your stable - screw the GTI, bring the E34 out!

Awesome showing today. My first time there. Someone please post professional looking pics. My highlights: Porsche 356 in super mint condition, Mclaren MP4-12C, Lambo Diablo, 991 convertible (the roof is amazing), Noble, etc. Good times!

Damn it.. knew that McLaren was going to show up soon. I think the guy owns a gray 458 as well. Was talking to him about it last fall and he said he had one on order.

Funny that the weather turned out to be REALLY nice on Sat. after all the predictions of big rain, etc.

Let's hope this Sunday is nice as well.

Here are some shoddy iphone photos. One thing to note is how massive the carbon rotors are on the 458* (*those are 20" rims!).

nice shots. i like the lineup of the porsches. interesting to see that the mclaren is also gray ... and the wheels on it look terrible to me. but a cool car nonetheless

I agree, that color does nothing for the McLaren and neither does the color on the wheels. Makes the car kind of blend right in. I'd have gone with the orange.

I think the guy with this Noble lives close to me, I followed him from Arlington all the way to the show one morning.
