I am glad the weather held out! Had a great time just walking around and seeing all the cars there. I know it is pretty embarrassing, but I saw my first SLS!

    Hope you all had fun!

    Disclaimer: my photos suck. Enjoy.

I was driving along with this guy from Vienna, Mother of God.

Didn't know it had an R32 drivetrain. Kinda bummed, I was hoping it was original.

Great pics! Wish I could've been there; some great cars there that I haven't seen before....

Autothority in Chantilly has a MINT Esprit* (*red w/ tan interior) at their shop right now, who the shop manager told me is for sale (by owner). If serious, you should check it out....

They're too rich for my blood - it's nice to dream, though.

One of them in racing green is definitely a bucket list car, for sure.

It really, and I can't believe I'm saying this, did absolutely nothing for me. Crowd was kinda odd. Showed up very late probably b/c everyone thought it was going to rain maybe.

Oh... and thanks for the pic of the Rabbit. Reminds me.. I need to get the car inspected this weekend!!! WHOOPS!!!

No need for the photo disclaimer, the light for taking photos was pretty bad. I'll try to get mine up; got some close-ups of the McLaren.

Yeah, crowd wasn't as big as normal and it seemed like a lot of guys left early when it started looking like rain.

Totally forgot to check out that Esprit. Love those cars. Met a guy selling a yellow Esprit V-8 back in Michigan and for a split second I tried to figure out how I could buy it.

Sweet car.... but my car got in the shot too! (way in the back by the bank..)

Love the pictures! Would love to meet you all next time around...

That yellow 993 got my pants tight, but I do have a thing for porsches. Also, I have to say, after seeing my first US market Golf R, I was a little underwhelmed. I don't know if it was the caliber of the cars around it or what, but it didn't evoke the same feelings the original Luxury GT did back in the day....

I loved that Rallye, I know it isn't completely original, but I found it just perfect with the compomotives and the vr. I think it was perfect in every way.

Yeah, I got a weird feeling from the McLaren, too. I thought it would have been much more of a show-stopper, but I was very 'meh' about it. Probably because I'm just numb in general to all the supercars that show up, I get much more excited when I see an oddball.

Weirdest part of the morning was the "Lancia" Chrysler 300 that showed up. Any of you guys catch the 'photo shoot' they had around 9am?

Oh, and since there was a comment about the Jags, here is a rear shot:

    The drop-top was a V12.

The McLaren got some attention when it pulled in and after it parked, but not nearly what the Aventadors have gotten. I would have gotten the car in orange myself.

I walked right by the 300 and didn't realize until later that it was badged as a Lancia. Euro-spec product of the Chrysler-Fiat merger? I didn't get a chance to ask the guy who brought it. It had MI manufacturer plates.

Yeah, it's on it's way to Germany. It was just funny - the guy was talking it up like it was something special. It's just a V6 300. (And I like the new 300s)

Yeah, I didn't realize at first what all the fan fare was... I just thought a 300 enthusiast got a hold of a Lancia grill... doh!

So who is headed out this weekend? Think the weather is going to be a bit nicer(read: warmer!!). I'm going to try to sneak out there and then get my car inspected afterwards. I'm just asking for it but I need to get the car to the inspection station somehow.

That said, I'll be back the week after that!

I need to bring my "real" camera next time... Cell phone pictures just don't cut it...

i really think it's the color the guy chose. the dark grey doesn't flatter the design. needs to be red, orange, bright blue, or yellow.
