Was a slow start probably b/c of the rain the previous night, but it filled up FAST around 8am or so and then was packed. Lots of newer stuff, but still a good time.

I don't know.. I'm thinking after this season it's going to get overrun by "new" money and the old timers may start bailing on it. I'm giving it until at least this Fall and see how things go.

There was a really odd-ball black Italian car with, I think, a Ford V8. Talked to the owner a little, he said some guy made about 400 of them. I think it was a 1971. I'll post up photos this week.

You just show up and park, spots fill up usually by 6:45 and every car gets love there, its full of car enthusiasts big and small.

The paint on that car was absolutely fantastic, especially for black. Interior was pretty mint too. I forgot to ask the owner if it's been restored. I saw him pull out as I was leaving.

I had to take the "long" way around aka G-town Pike b/c 267 was closed off at the Beltway for repaving. Ended up getting there right at 7am and had to park on the grass. Holy cripes it was packed!!!

Forgot how nice G-town Pike was even though I got caught behind some slow traffic. May have to take that next weekend just to have a little fun.

It's at the Khols/Dicks in Fair Lakes. I've never been, but it's been going on since last year I think. It's on Sundays I believe, maybe I'll try and go to that this weekend.

I may try it out at some point if C&C Great Falls turns too douchey which I hope it won't.

Oh yeah.. and the Fiat Abarth is actually smaller than the Rabbit from what we could tell which means.. DAMN it's small!!! Cool car though. Ultimate DC commuter mobile.

One of my favorite parts about going out there is the drive from DC on the Gtown Pike.

Looks like a great one... Didn't make it out and won't be in town next weekend either... Would have loved to see the GTV6 and the Abarth...
