MK5 Jetta Problem with LED tails - bulb out error and dim front markers

I have a 2006 midline jetta and installed LED tails with amber signals coded. I noticed after installation that i had a bulb out error and my front signals and marker lights were noticably dimmer.

Here are the results of an auto scan. please let me knwo if more form this scan is needed, didnt know if i should post the entire scan up or not.

That should clear up some of your issues.

Front Side marker lights are tied into the tail lights, and will be dim after installing LED Tail Lights.
My solution was JAMSTRAIT LED 194 devices (4-LED Array) which will give a brighter appearance.

I am not so sure on you BYTE 02, HEX DA

This is Binary 1101 1010

BIT 6 is set to "1" Side Turn Signals Lights Installed.
I have never seen a MKV Jetta with this feature.

BIT 2 is set to "0" Cold Diagnostics active, this should be set to "1"

Tim, the coding did not solve the problem here is a autoscan I did today after the bulb out error returned. Im thinking the sideblinkers option was checked thinking it would make the lights on the side blink so ignore that.

Your BYTE 02 needs to be put back to original (or what I posted above) , you do not have *Side Turn Signal Lights.
Your coding for the Diagnostics on the Brake Lights is correct. Where were the Tail Lights made?

You may wnt to double check the wiring to the Tail Lights, and make sure that all four wires are secured in the Tail Light Connectors (Brake Light Faults are intermittent per your scan).

There are two different ways to clear faults, please try to clear the faults within the controller.
If that does not work, then do the fault clearing at the end of the scan.

[Clear All DTCs]
This function is only available when using a HEX Interface and is implemented in two ways. On pre-CAN vehicles, VCDS will access each control module and clear DTCs from each one individually. On vehicles using CAN for diagnostics, VCDS performs this function without accessing all the control modules individually if the Use CAN Command box is checked. If you are not using a HEX Interface then you'll need to go into each module that has faults to clear them individually. This function is also accessible from the Applications Screen.

Tim you are some sort of vagcom voodoo wizard you've solved my problem! It was those damn non existent sideblinkers! I unchecked that option that was mistakenly checked and it solved my bulb out error. appreciate the help, especially you going out of your way to message me to try out a suggestion before i even responded on this thread. I hope that when you ever need something this forum is as helpful as you were to me. people like you make this forum worthwhile. I also cleared all codes in my car and the car seems faster and is free of almost all previous major errors. No more xmas tree dash! That bulb out error was rly bugging me.
