Does the Glass Factory Have Servicing Facilities?

A question for those who have been I guess?

I am planning some major servicing work in the coming months, some of which will require the engine to be removed. I do NOT trust the VW dealers that I have used and my independent is unhappy about removing the engine without the specific sled.

I was wondering therefore, whether Dresden had a dedicated service facility specifically for customer cars?

Any enlightenment would be appreciated!

In short, no.

they have been known to help arrange bits with local dealers, but no more than that.

That's a shame. I would have enjoyed a trip to Dresden knowing that someone who actually knew what to do would be doing it (so to speak!)
