looking at picking up a 86 16v project.

mkI parts suppliers are becoming more and more scarce since many have moved more towards mkIV

1 where do you get euro bumpers
2 best place for the single headlight set and badgless grill and basic exterior styling

That stuff will be hard to find, the best bet is the Scirocco Parts classifieds here on the Vortex.

Also check ebay as people sometimes set up auctions not knowing about this site or they run salvage yards and sell a variety of items.

Do companies not sell the euro bumpers or small bumpers? the US ones stick out who needs a park bench for a bumper.

Nope .. keep in mind our cars are over 20 years old and were not as popular as civics and accords and other cars. So you will have to find someone selling one. You also may want to take a look at ebay.de as thats were some go to find auctions for Eurolights and other Euro parts.

As far as the badgeless grill goes thats something you will have to make yourself. People will find the grills on another model VW (sorry I dont recall what model but I will try to find out for you) Search the forums , matter of fact look thru the photo thread and ask the posters of cars you see with badgeless grills where where they got there grill from.
