I'm liking it quite a bit. My buddy who is a PC snob came over an played it after lunch on Saturday, he even agreed that it looks really promising. His only real gripe is that the environment wasn't being destroyed as it would be in BF3 (Both use the Frostbite 2 engine). I know developers usually release dumbed down versions for a beta/demo, so I know the graphics will be a bit better, and I'm also hoping for the BF3-like destruction (Just looked it up, they'll be using a feature called micro-destruction... I still have my fingers crossed that walls can be taken down enough to enter/exit a room).

I'm really happy with the weapons, it doesn't feel like you're shooting an airsoft gun from CoD. The first time I pulled the trigger on a bolt action sniper rifle, it put a smile on my face, they have all the mechanisms dialed in. If you spray and pray with an assault rifle, I hope you do more of the latter. Pulling out the shotgun as your secondary is very rewarding, turning a corner or entering a room and blasting a guy never gets old.

The one thing I hope they correct is losing health due to jumping/falling a small distance. Sure, it regenerates after a short wait, but losing 27 percent of that imaginary life for leaving an object that is roughly 10 feet high is a little absurd.

SAPJetta, you're right about the buddy system. I got teamed up with somebody that just complimented my playing style perfectly. We rocked the other team pretty hard (Combined kill counts of 60) and just dominated on placing and diffusing charges. I get a little bummed when I get partnered up with some guy who is always in BFE picking dandelions, I suppose that's just equilibrium though.

Last, but not least, I hate that freakin' map. I don't know why, I just don't like it too much. It could just be the layout and how it flows for the hot spot game mode, but I'm sure I'm going to like some of the others much, much better.

Just curious, but what do you Jetta twins not like about it?

Flashpoint tried in a lot of ways but failed in the application of their multiplayer.

I loved the fact that if you got shot you bleed out unless a medic could save you. And when he does save you, Youre still wounded! I also loved the bullet drop used in flashpoint.

Hated the how clunky it felt, the awful AI and the lack of maps/ and guns to pick from.

I'm not feeling the controls. I think I'd prefer it on PC with a mouse/keyboard. Something about them doesn't feel weighted properly to me. Same issue I had with BF3. It just feels like the gun swings around too effortlessly and makes it tough to get on target.

Getting paired with someone who stays near you definitely helps things out though. The couple games where I had a guy watching my ass and providing cover fire were certainly more entertaining.

I'll give it a bit more time though. I'd like to see some other maps because like you I don't like this one very much. While night time maps are fun sometimes, I'd like to see some daylight maps.
Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

I actually enjoyed the beta quite a bit. It was a little annoying how everyone was running around trying to play TDM instead of pushing toward the objective. But I got a lot of bomb plans and defuses at times because of it. Took some getting used to since I've been during days upon days into every COD release. Enjoyed the pacing, guns felt great. Didn't like those guys with the armor, they got the best of me quite a bit.

I've grown tired of the CODs, on the fence with Black Ops 2. This might get my hard earned money when it comes out.

Realized what's been bugging me. Same issue with BF3.

    30fps vs 60fps.

Like I said, I'm sure I'd enjoy it much more on a PC running at a higher frame rate, but the 30fps on consoles seems sluggish to me coming off the COD games. This isn't to say COD is a better game. The controls just feel better to me.

Is the single player campaign going to be any good? I don't have time to screw around online with all the 12 year olds or the 35 year olds living at their mom's. But I do enjoy a campaign mode...

The last MOH had an engaging story, I don't see why this one won't.

that was the only thing MoH had going for it, the multiplayer just did nothing for me.

I've been playing since Monday, and boy was I wrong. I'm loving this game (campaign). I have not yet played multi-player yet, but will this weekend. The campaign is fun, and the graphics are AWESOME!!! All in all enjoying it so far. It should hold me until Halo comes out, and then the real fun begins!!!

Skipping this one. Review after review saying bad things about it.

Single player may be fine, but I don't buy these games for the single player.

It's only a couple weeks until some more games drop anyhow.

I picked up this game and brought it right back within 2 days. I was hoping it would replace BF3 and Ghost Recon as my shooter. I didn't touch the story on it as I only did MP.

The biggest flaws in the game are limited weapons, crappy spawn points, and bullet damage.

I don't know why they would release a game with each character only getting 3 weapons to work with. Do I really need to have 3 snipers rifles that are all the same just different attachments on them? Just show it once and let me edit it much like every other shooter out there. Not being able to change the pistol/secondary also sucks.

Spawn points are stupid, I hate clearing an area only to have someone spawn right behind me and die. Or I'll spawn right in front of an enemy and just be mowed down.

Bullet damage, at times it takes a full mag dump to kill someone and at other times its 2 bullets (person had zero damage). Seemed to vary quite a bit while I was playing. Headshots are more like multiple shots especially with a sniper rifle.

Ended up getting to level 30 and traded it in to pick up BF3 Premium. MOH could have been so much better, seems like they dropped the ball big time.

I saw IGN's review... MOH has now been deleted from my Amazon cart.

I couldn't get passed the first mission due to not being able to trigger an explosion. Rt (xbox) does nothing after killing 3 people with headshots (using the right rigger). Reboot, new controller, swapped controller layout, hard-wired controller: no change.

Tried MP, Rt won't fire. Black screen after spawning in a new round. Can hear the game playing, but nothing on the screen. Gave it back to my friend.

Still loving and enjoying the campaign. Played multi-player mode and yes it's not the greatest. The only first person shooter that even comes remotely close to Halo is the Modern Warfare & Call of Duty series, everything else is like "blah". But I have to admit, the graphics on MOH are SWEEEEEET!!!! Even the graphics on the multiplayer are good. That's the way the graphics should be on either Modern Warfare or Call of Duty.
