Same thing just not on the same scale. Both countries are putting missiles before people and I honestly feel it's a little hypocritical. (Granted I do understand that North Korea is run by psychos, I was just offering some context.)

No, it's really not. I had a delicious Egg McMuffin made with organic eggs and a whole wheat English muffin this morning with a nice cup of drip coffee. My North Korean counterpart probably had a bowl of air seasoned with bitter tears.

Don't read into what I said too much, i'm not out to make a debate out of it. Consider it more of a gentle jab.

Don't worry. That's a "canceled" program. It couldn't possibly have been us. No way.

    It was probably aliens.

I like the part from thew wiki page that goes something along the lines of "theoretically could be used against other aircraft or low orbit satellites, but it hasn't been tried so effects are unknown"

    Sure.
What I know of R&D for military uses is a bunch of people sit in a room and say "man it would be awesome if we could do "this"...then they get the money and try it.

This is not DARPA's mission statement, but it might as well be.

    Not their public one, anyways.

"hey guys, you think we can build a ray guy that will force people out of our way but not kill them, that way we can zap them again and again for comedic effect?"

    we can try.

    BAM.

Hey guys, you think we can make a human exoskeleton so that a soldier could carry like 400 lbs of gear?

    we can try

    BAM

You think we can build the internet?
    BAM

Basically anything you drew on the back of your notebook in 5th grade, these guys get to try and make reality. ****ers.

It would be more amusing if it failed, but I bet we shot it down.

We should just drop rice cakes with troll face on them on the North Korean military.

I wish something good comes to that people in my lifetime. For the country, I wish for nothing but a pox.

Man, would it ever be satisfied to see Kim Jong Un strung up by his toes in a public square.
