Thread: i needed a place to rant...

    sooooo the turbo back exhaust system i ordered is on ****ING BACK ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that would be the last thing i need to get to get my apr stage 2 tune....so i was supposed to get the system last week and i just checked today and it was back ordered and i had no clue of it and the apr tuning sale ends on the 21st ...GG

    does anyone know how much an aprtune is when not on sale...just for the 91 tune =\

    save your $$$ go to a big show this summer and get it unitronic tuned you will be a lot more pleased with it over all.

    Dude, if you're going to get your APR tune, just go it. It's not going to hurt anything to not have your exhaust yet. You just won't make the advertised numbers. The ECU will adjust for the lack of exhaust. It's cool.

    Just get the flash... Then buy a 42dd Downpipe and go to a local muffler shop and have them fab you a magnaflow catback. You'll save money and be happier

    I know that feel man, I ordered the last Eurojet TBE from ecs and when I got it it was dented and didn't fit when installed so I gota wait until April 27 to get new gen.

    Curious as to which exhaust were you going to buy?

    you dont need an exhaust for an apr stage 2 tune. it's just recommended. IIRC all the APR Stage 2 tune does is remove the check for the cat so your CEL doesn't come on. Many people on here have commented about that...i might be able to find the thread where we were talking about it...but afaik, thats the only difference between stage 1 and 2 for APR.

    I ordered the tsudo turbo back, for it's price it's a very crazy exhaust system and is great with mkiv jettas

    only reason why i WOULDNT get tuned at a shower. they dont save the records of what cars they tuned. trust me i had this happen to me with Unitronic. i had a problem where i had to get tuned back to stock and they werent able to find me in the records. plus most shops do the same doscount during these same time of showes..

    have fun trying to get that exhaust to fit. You will probably spend around the same you paid for it getting it fitted

    ducaud how is it not going to fit, >.< its for mk4's and plus a buddy of mine has had it on he said its a great exhaust system especially for the price your getting it for

    because a buddy of mine bought it for his MK4 and it was terrible and did not fit at all. The exhaust shop had to cut it up and re weld it to make it fit.
