Feeler '77 Rabbit w/ 1.8 GTI PNW

So, bought the car few months back, got the itch for a dirt bike and new trail bike again so Im thinking of selling it. Clean title, 200+ on chassis. But it's had a previous owner thats spent some money on it. Runs ridiculously fast, not sure but it idles like it has a cam but theres no paperwork to support that theory of mine.

Car is getting a new fuel pump and accumulator/fuel filter later this week. This is a weekend/project car for me although it's fully registered and gets driven.

Within the last 100 miles I have done: Rokkor Coilovers, Raceland Header, TT Exhaust w/ MagnaFlow muffler.

I have modified B3 Passat black leather front seats in it. My plan is to do the carpet and rear bench in black but the bike itch is kicking in.

Exterior-wise car has plastic euros, new turns and both badgeless and oem grille, new black trim and clips, small duckbill. Headlights included with be inpro crystal clears as well as flat fluted glass. Relayed to run higher watt headlights. Wired to run city lights as well. Tails are clean us tails and has 1/4 flares on it. It car come with the US bumpers as well. As you can tell by the pics drivers fender is slightly darker that the rest of the car. I was gonna deal with that when I shaved the sidemarkers.

The rest of the interior. Dash has a Denon CD player, dash has a few cracks but nothing horrific, Inner cluster/bezel is a later speedo/tach unit not sure what vehicle/year. Black door panels w/ 6.5 Boston's and rear have 6x9 Boston's.

Body/paint is probably a 7.5/8 of 10. It cleaned up well but to be really nice could use a wet sand then re-polish. Pan of the car is insanely clean, no rust there. A-pillars each have a spot with the passenger side being the worse of the two. Theres also a small bubble on the rear fender from where the flares were. (Car will also come with flares, a tall center console as well as lower knee bar.

As I think of more stuff I'll add it and get some more pics soon. I was thinking of starting it at $4200.

I miss my 83 rabbit gti so much! I paid $100 for it and it was my first car. I'm just about to get a mk6 gti now but would love to have another clean mk1 like this just to be BOSS about it.

id be interested, but i dont think my spending amount is where you'd like to get it at. unless you were interested in a trade on my rabbit plus cash. then we'd have to figure out how to do that even. BUT i'd be open to make it work.

still here at 3K, have a new oem fusebox on the way to replace my corroded/rusted one. Hoping to fix the issue and if it's back running price goes up.
