Purchased a New Beetle Monsoon amp on accident, didn't work with the speakers. Got a Jetta one too (mistake on eBay listing) which got better and sounded great up front but the back was screwed up (different configurations I suppose) so I'm sending that one back tomorrow.

    I need a Monsoon amp that is exactly a 1J6 035 456, not a 1J6 035 456 C or 1J5 035 456 (Jetta).

If you have one please PM me!

That's a 456C, not a 456. The rear configuration of the speakers on the 456C is off, it's very tinny. I know, because the eBay seller I bought one from sent me the wrong one twice .

The front configuration for the 1J5 is okay, but the rear is crap. The front configuration for the 456C is great, but the rear is crap. The 456 model has both rear and front proper configurations.

Maybe your wiring is out of phase and that's why you think it sounds tinny.
