I am currently running a roof-mounted bike rack, but would like some extra storage on the roof. Are there any narrow roof-mounted cargo/safari baskets made that would allow me to keep the bicycle carrier? Let's see what you folks got.

Why don't you take the bike mount off of your current crossbars and mount it inside of a normal sized roof rack... It would look better and still do what you need.

I didn't think of that. Do you have any pictures of this being done?

I don't know if you care about MPG or not but you will lose a few with a basket rack.

I am ok with losing a few MPG for the ability to carry more if need be.

If I saw that car in a junkyard I would have taken a dump on it to make it look better. Major props to you for finding the needle in the haystack.
