I was having some inconsistencies with shifting in my car, most noticeably first gear randomly. I had my car in at Pure MS (San Diego) for an Oil Change and Tony recommended trying out the Stern mount. So I had him install just the Trans mount.

Wow, it feels like a new car, not only is first solid and consistent, each gear all the way through feels perfect!

I really didn't think it was off or not shifting good enough before, but now I realize how good it should have been.

The original mount looked fine, but the car only as 49K on it, so if anyone is looking for a nice low cost upgrade, look into the Stern product.

Thought I'd share and give a shout out to Tony at PureMS!

Have you considered also installing a snub mount?
