that's s4/s6 entry level $...
has this car had a motor re-build?
suspension re-build?
did you upgrade the engine to a 20v?
are the window switches up to par? or are the rear windows still crank operated?
do you have the missing trim from the front bumper?
the car looks clean from the one pic...
but not quite worth a thousand words..![]()

You could buy a beater and invest the money into bringing it back to the level of clean that this car is. I can vouch for it, it's very nice. Smokin' deal cars are smokin' deal cars, otherwise, you get what you pay for. Either you're willing to buy something you don't need to by in large restore, and start upgrading right away, or you get something that needs a ton of work and $$ just to bring it up to nice condition in the first place.

Ok RedDragon... Your point is off and I see that you would be a S4 buyer all the way!! But if you were a real 4kq person you would want a one year car only to be correct and original in every way!! Ones Logic would say to buy as new as you can and something that you can buy parts for... I understand all that! This 84 4KQ is a challenge in every aspect in just finding parts (new and used) and just being able to work on it and afford what needs to be done is a feat in its self... It comes from the heart!!! I thank you for not understanding... I thank a hand full of people; a circle of Friends... and you know who you are!!!

If people would just realize that there are very few of these left... They would consider this a hell of a deal!!!! Go find another!!!

Sorry you felt insulted... I have owned this car and am very familiar it's rarity and with all that that entails.. no need to be rude, I was just trying to get a handle on whether or not this car was just lipstick on a pig, or if it had been "gone through".. I'm from Portland and would have a family member come over and check it out if I could get more info on the car than one picture and "it's a classic, and people just don't understand how rare it is" if having anyone question about the car or its condition relative to other classics on the market makes you upset maybe you should try advertising on Craigslist or just sell it to one of your buddy's who wont bruise your ego.![]()
