Okay, I know there are more people coming (from whatever leg of the trip) than have joined the FB group soooo it's time for a roll call!!

Let's organize it by state so you can get an idea of who's showing up at what meetup spot (gas spots TBD ASAP), so post up a pic of what you'll be bringing, with how many people, and from where!

    I'll start...

Eudorrra from NJ, driving myself this year lmao. My car is not together yet, but at least the inside will still look the same:

So the free oil change I won at eurofest is kind of pointless. Shop is like 2 hours away in Long Island. Ill start the bidding at $2 for it.

I think ill be cruising with you guys down to sowo, havent heard any news from this other cruise. Also you guys went all fancy with the pdf's, do like. hopefully those are all the pitstops.
Need detailing work done, PM me...located in central jersey!

    Pilot Travel Center: ETA 9:00am
2966 Lee Highway South Troutville, VA 24175
This is a bad idea any day, even more so on a weekday. Being from Troutville - this won't be easy to get to/from with a large group - Depending on your route to it. Granted - compared to getting around a city, this would be cake; but compared to other options in the arae with a large group - not the best idea.

Coming down 81s, you'd take exit 150a, have to cross a couple lanes of traffic to hit the left turn lane that's 1/4mi past bottom of the ramp; turn left onto rt11/lee highway, to get into the pilot. Leaving the pilot would be worse - Left turn across 6 lanes, lots of semi-s block that up from leaving the truck stop. Also - the pilot doesn't have a very large parking lot.

If you're planning on hitting Troutville for gas - my suggestion is take 150b, go about 1/4-1/2mi and make a u-turn at the stop light; which will put you at a BP and Exxon that are next to eachother (and generally have same gas price of the Pilot). They don't share lots, but the Exxon has a park & ride lot right next to it; when you leave these parking lots the 81s on ramp is right there.

Second best option would be take 150a, make a right at the light to the station that used to be a Citgo (it just changed in the last month or two, dont recall what it is) that's on the right, or the Dodge's store on the left (****ing good fried chicken BTW). Both of these stations have pretty big lots as well.

(*Best suggestion) If gas price isn't a huge concern here - stop at exit 156 (2 lane country highway) as there's a large Exxon 'Country Store' there which has a good breakfast food selection and a massive parking lot.

    Exxon at 156:http://g.co/maps/7mm6z

    exit 150a/b area:
http://g.co/maps/s6ve6 the Pilot is on rt11 to the right of where it shows the rt11 sign- next to the huge parking lot in the middle of the screen (truck stop); dodge's/used-to-be-citgo is next to the rt11 sign on the south side of cloverdale rd. exxon/bp is on opposite side of 81, to the left of where it says Roanoke Rd (just above where Tinker Mtn Rd joins Roanoke rd).

I can tell you there is construction on I81 southbound near Christiansburg (mile 125ish) - the road itself should be ok though - they have been doing a bunch of blasting in order to add lanes to the road there. I don't know if they are still blasting or not (it's been a couple months since I was down that way), but heres a vdot page about it: http://www.virginiadot.org/projects/...ery_county.asp

You might want to bring your Bigfoot hunting kits with you. There have been some sightings around Helen.

If you haven't done so, please RSVP to the cruise so that we can have an accurate head count. We are going to be printing stickers and would like to have enough for all.

But I'm sure we will run into you eventually.

AWESOME. Add me to the roll call: (NY) Crispy222 (B5 Passat Variant) +1

Anyone want to meet up around the Harrisburg/Carlisle area at 3am? We can try to hop on the interstate when the group passes or just connect up at the first stop in VA. Message me and we can work something out/exchange numbers.

I'm going to post on FB to in case people are following there too.
