I've rolled with you guys for the past two years. Def a massive group filled with dope cars and good drivers...for the most part
We will be hosting our 3rd cruise to Southern Worthersee this year.
In 2010, we led a small organized cruise with a handful of local enthusiasts that turned into a small adventure: Water and Wagens
Last year, the cruise grew even larger. We were joined by some new faces along with some old ones: Jetta Down
If history repeats itself, then this year will undoubtedly be another cruise to remember.
Here is the info:
When: Wednesday Night / Thursday Morning, May 17, 2012 @ 12:00am
Where: Applebee's Parking Lot. 640 Promenade Boulevard Bridgewater, NJ 08807
Departure: The cruise will leave at 1:00am sharp.

A few things to remember:
Have a Full Tank!We will be making a gas stop every ~200 miles. Have your cars topped off.Bring Walkie-talkies with Extra Batteries.Communication is awesome. C'mon, who doesn't like messing around with walkie-talkies anyway? . We'll be broadcasting on channel 8.Snacks and Drinks.Have some Redbull, coffee, soy milk, or whatever keeps you up with you before heading out. Don't drink too much or you will be bursting at the seams if you know what I mean.No Racing! We cannot stress this enough. Since there will be a good amount of cars on the road, the last thing anyone needs is an accident. Respect your fellow cruisemates. This is a cruise designed to get together with old friends and make new ones. We hold camaraderie in high regard. We all stay together and more importantly, no one gets left behind.
Post up what you're driving, how many you're bringing, and where you're meeting us! You can also confirm your attendance on FB here: http://www.facebook.com/events/333242303397856/

we've left around 1am the past couple of years.. it's worked out well for arriving on time for check-in
Yeah, not to worried about that considering we will be driving straight through which is what myself & some Audi/VW friends planned on doing; with the occasional gas stop of course. Any of you guy's plan on hitting the Tail of Dragon on the way down, From what I can see...adds just an hour to the trip.
Euro is the new ricer scene...
I think we travelled through part of it last year, we'll assess the route and see how lively people are after the last gas stop
That wouldn't be an issue. What we can do is confirm where other drivers will be linking up with the cruise. We can then post the locations and ETA so people know when to stand by and merge in when the cruise passes.
I am currently looking for a good way for the cruise to be tracked through an app like Google Latitude or GPS tracker. That way, you could see where we are in real time.
We are going to hash those plans out this weekend and will post the details in the first post. Perhaps mapping out each gas stop will help everyone out. That way, other drivers can link up with us at their closest rally point.
Okay, I know there are more people coming (from whatever leg of the trip) than have joined the FB group soooo it's time for a roll call!!
Let's organize it by state so you can get an idea of who's showing up at what meetup spot (gas spots TBD ASAP), so post up a pic of what you'll be bringing, with how many people, and from where!
Eudorrra from NJ, driving myself this year lmao. My car is not together yet, but at least the inside will still look the same:
First post has been edited and now includes:
List of gas stops and estimated times of arrival.
Downloadable PDF with route and stops included.
A few extra instructions for mini-cruise leaders.
Updated the route & PDF directions, huge thanks to dceola for the inside info!
I may be able to join the Cruise near the PA/MD border, driving the big blue Orchid van. It only cruises at 80mph comfortably, but gets 600 miles per tank
