    Hi I'm looking for a mk1 rabbit 2 door. The rabbit does it have to run or have a motor or tranny but it has to have a straight body with no rust or very little bit.

    needs new top but has rebuilt engine, trans, gas tank new, and 85% new parts through out.

    Tried to PM you but it says your mailbox is full and you can't accept anymore PM's.

    I have a running, driving 81 Rabbit 2-Door with a 1.8 and automatic trans. Car has a good bit of rust on it but I also have an 83 GTI shell thats 98% rust free that can go with it. The shell is straight. No dents. No dings. The 81 is complete. All interior is there and in good condition. Would be an easy swap to the 83. The 83 was originally a 5-speed and has a sunroof and manual pedal assembly. I'm looking for $1,500.00 or I'm willing to trade for something old, american, german, whatever, that I can tinker with. Also, I'm located an hour from Savannah and have access to a trailer to bring the shell and drive the 81 to you. Let me know.
