Hello .
i have a 5/2011 tsi 1.4 122hp golf .
i just retrofitted new fog lights (grills etc) and did the complete installation includes the euro switch and the wiring to the bcm .
all that to find that my bcm does not support fog light .(1K0 937 084 d)
i went to the local dealer and bought from him a used but operating mid line bcm(1K0 937 086) .
my question is : should i just replaced the old one with this one and recheck all the values from the 09 same as it was?
please help me with that question cause i didn't found any record for someone that did it and i want to be sure that's the process .
all the best

The issue with this thread is it has nothing to do with Ross Tech or it's products. Do you have a specific question for Ross Tech or you just hoping someone sees this and can help you with it? You may want to post this in a vehical specific forum rather then this one unless you have a VCDS question/concern.

I agree, the OP may not be using VCDS but the new/used BCM (providing it is correct) should be coded identically to the original one with the exception if the fog lamp installed bit:

If you are using VCDS save a complete scan prior to replacement and run one directly after installing and coding so the details can be posted here if you have configuration issues.

Thank you for the answer.
I am using VCDS so i will do that and post here the final results .
basiclly if i undersood right , i should scan the car before the replacment of BCM and then run the VCDS again and copy the same coding as the old one .
i might take some screen shots to the all 30 byte and make sure i m cheaking the same box.
thanks again !
