A4 1.8T or 2.0T

Hey guys, I am usually in the VW forums, but I might be trading my mk2 gli toward an audi soon. I found a 2004 Audi 2.0T FWD. I know the 2.0T comes with a 6 speed manual transmission which is really nice. Is one more reliable than the other, or more expensive as far as maintainence goes? Just would like to see what you A4 owners thought. Thanks in advance.

IMPO, I would go with the 1.8T. You can do SOOO much more with it than the 2.0T. I chose my 1.8T USP over a 2.0T just for that reason. GL

i have the 1.8 a buddy of mine has the 2.0

he has had more internal engine trouble then ive ever seen.

i had the 5 speed in mine and its still nice, good accel. only thibgs ive had to replace was very minor issues, very easy to diagnos to me.
