It's probably a little cheaper. That truck likely runs on off-road "dirty" diesel, which is similar to home heating oil. Plus, that truck probably carries a 6-figure price tag, and earns stupid money for the company on a daily basis.

I second the question about the porta supplier...?

Clearly the FT-86 needs that motor. Then it'd have enough torque to get over the hills and pass safely.

Our construction company owns a fleet of 6 Gasser GMC Sierra Extended Cab 8 Foot Beds ... they average 10mpg and we put on about 40k/truck/year. Our fuel costs for just our 6 field managers approaches $90,000/year.

I did the tune/rating on that C15 for the 735/740AT before I left CAT. I miss calibrating the big engines.

I look down into trucks like that. And I wonder what that weighs loaded. What is that trailer for anyways?

Our company just took possession of 3 custom built western star heavy haul/prime mover trucks. It doesn't have as much power as your but i think the overall length is about 40 ft.

Thought it would have more torque. I mean you can get a Chevy pickup with 765lb ft right?

What are they doing that they average 10mpg!? They must idle a ton.

Normal mileage for a 502. We have a 3500 HD that gets similar mileage.

Funny thing, BJ's porta-jon serviced a work site I worked at a short while ago. I stopped the lady servicing the crapper and asked if I could have a shirt when she stopped by next week so that I could give it to my brother in law who is Bill Junior, BJ. My sister commented that since I gave it to him it sits in the bottom of his drawer.
