Im finally making a thread for my car cause I thought if everyone had one why shouldnt I. So I came around to the idea, spontaneously.
Current Mods:
EVOMS Intake
KSport Coilovers
OZ Racing Pegasus 18x8 F 18x9 R ~et43 all around
Vinyled interior trim
Future Mods:
Cut tips and install rear diffuser without cutouts
1 inch bigger lips and gold bolts
Here is the car when I first purchased it. Had only 11 miles when I brought it home.
Got smoked side markers a few weeks later.
The car was stock for some time just enjoyed it for what it was... then the mods started to come. First mod to be done was given my friend in his GTi my stock side markers and he gave me colored match ones.
Next mod was a Eurojet exhaust, great exhaust awesome sound. loved it
Next was to lower the beast, bought Ksport coilover through some persuasion from the infamous Av. and they were the best bang for the buck with the look I was trying to achieve
I started to work on a little project because I liked the badgeless look. I had an extra grille from when VW replaced the grille to the holeless, clean version. Got the donor grille from BetaOp9. Here is the project and completion. Now the grille is in the possession of MoWsE. I know his car is going to look great with it on.
I attended SoWo
After SoWo I was itching for some wheels after seeing a copious amount of modified cars. Some I found these a few weeks later. Wheels are Carlsson 18x8.5 et40
I planned to strip the old coating off the wheels and try to polish them. The stripping process was tedious and i got very impatient with it and decided to get the wheels sandblasted.
I started to get to work on polishing
Continued to polish but in the mean time i was tried looking at the engine spin interior trim so I had a friend that vinyls choose to color match the interior trim
I found out that I had made a mistake in sandblasting the wheels so I stopped polishing and make the decision to powdercoat the wheels.
Bought bolts and put the Carlssons on.
Drove the .:R on the Carlssons for a while. I came to the conclusion that I was tried of a monoblock wheel and wanted a wheel with lips. So I purchased my current wheels.
I just ordered the rear diffuser and it came in last week, going to get the stock tips cut and put turndowns on and paint the diffuser. Sorry for the lack of pictures of the diffuser havent had much time. Hopefully ill have it all done by SoWo![]()

I owned a white car for 12 years. IMHO nothing beats/gets more attention than a properly detailed white car. Looking good buddy!

Thanks guys. I try to take care of the paint, white is definitely a pain in the ass to take care of but looks great when done properly. I have to clean the car weekly for the color and the wheel not to get ruined. Im planning on buffing the car for SoWo since its been almost 5 years since I have had the car.

Doesnt seem like the rear diffuser is going to be installed anytime soon, got a very steep price to replace the rear half bumper and repaint and paint the rear diffuser. Looks like it will be done when I decide to fix everything on the car.![]()

Great thread! Like you said, better late than never right! Love the .:R!
ThisI'm working on getting it installed, just trying to figure out the best way to get it to look how I want... Plus, I'm planning on doing the boser hood at the same time, so gotta plan installing it around then...

1. Take off that simply clean sticker asap
2. Takes notes everyone
3. <3 for mentioning me
4. Build threads suck, this thread sucks even more
5. Smaller tires, camber, more low.

Good point.
