wtb hatch latch lock anybody have access to parted out a3's?

Looking for that part. The sensor aspect of that doesn't work on mine anymore tells me my trunk is open all the time.

Check out car-parts.com , you can search junk yards for A3s. Look for one close by, maybe you can pull the part yourself.

AVOID this part on a parted car.

It's a common fault, caused by water ingress from rear washer fluid leakage.

Any car that's been sat in a junkyard... you've got to be kidding. This part isn't going to be reliable.
