The long ones that crack, anyone have a source for them or something similar? It seems they're only found on some of the doorcards out there. I'm trying to get a set of cards with a mint set, but all I find are effed up Anyone know where to get something similar? Thanks

They can be seen in the pic above

Looking for a suitable replacement myself right now.

And the chrome strips were used through '87. The '88s didn't have 'em.

That explains where mine are then

I would think some kind of generic adhesive-backed chrome strip would work, but finding the correct width, etc. is the problem

You could go with stuff like this, there are a variety of widths. Nothing is an exact match to the stock stuff with the black base.

@Scirocco16: No chance selling them - there's no way to take that trim of without it breaking or tearing the vinyl.

That over some kind of black base may work though. Anyone have a close-up of how the trim lays? (I have an '88 so I don't have anything by which to go)

I bet for $500 I could get them off. Never said it wouldn't tear the vinyl. I've never taken the door cards apart so I don't know how stuff's put together though, I could be wrong

The strips are glued on (might have even been heat welded on). I tried pulling mine apart, and the strips just cracked in a million places. Only way is to trade the door cards.
