Launch Control?

Just got the Stage I ECU update done on my '11 Tiguan (thanks 034Motorsports) and am curious if anyone knows if its possible to enable launch control via VAGCOM? The tune is definitely worth the $$$ but it just highlights the poor launching ability of the Tiguan for the first few feet off the line until the turbo winds up....

Nope, can't get there from here. LC is only available on the DSG transmission. And although EU customers get a DSG, I have never seen a post where it can be enabled.

Wow, this is interesting that you just recently posted this, cause I have been meaning to do this for the last couple of weeks.
Anyway, In my VW Manual it says that it is possible to utilize launch control, but anytime I have tried to activate it I have had little luck. I'm not sure if it's in everyone's manual, but when I have a bit of time I'll post pics of the section of my manual where it tells you how to activate this. But ya... would love to know if this is in everyone's manual or not.

So this is what it has in my manual on page 191.

I know that's what it says but you should try it... When I followed those instructions applying the pedal just caused the engine to complain about being restrained by the brakes.... RPM never climbed over 2K and when I removed my foot from the brake the launch felt rather anemic

I'll go try it again now as I'm heading to lunch but I am pretty sure I did exactly this about 8 months ago without any joy.
