Anyone need parts painted?

Hey Vortex,

I recently got laid off from the shop I was working at.... the owner decided to retire and is currently in the process of selling the place. Trick is I've got a mortgage etc to pay for and my savings are dwindling.... and finding work is ridiculous right now I can't find any openings. So I'm reaching out to the vdub community for some help, in exchange for my services of course.

I've already painted more than a few parts for some vortexers recently, maybe some more guys will chime in if they see the thread.

Basically I still have access for the time being (limited time only) to the shop and spray booth, so all parts will be painted and baked properly in a downdraft booth. The paint used is from Sikkens and the clear used is from Spies Hecker (top quality stuff) and I have ~11 years experience. I'm located in Brampton / Mississauga.

• parts must be provided in an undamaged / good condition and given to me OFF the car
• Send me a PM with a photo if you need minor repairs done and I'll let you know what I need
• I have access to all pigments / codes / formulas for any make or model. Want reventon grey? No problem.
• Turnaround time is usually 2-3 weekdays. I can sometimes get access to the booth on the weekends but not usually
• Please verify paint code on the car - if you can't find the code it's usually in the driver's side door jamb or by the spare tire in the trunk. If the wrong paint code is provided that's not my problem - so please make sure.
• I will require a 50% deposit as I'm paying for materials out of my own pocket. CASH only please.

Bumper covers:

• BASF flex additive included
• Single Stage: $250
• 2 stage / 3 stage: $300 (metallics / pearls etc)

Hoods:

• Single stage: $250
• 2 stage / 3 stage: $280

Lips / valence:

• BASF flex additive included
• Single stage / 2 stage / 3 stage: $90

Fenders:

• Single stage: $110
• 2 stage / 3 stage: $120

Bump for 24vGTiVR6... I grabbed some parts from him and had him paint a few things, added in some extra parts of my own for paint work for a good price. Had a chance to look at the fished parts in daylight and it's pretty good paint work!

i bought a rear valance off him on here and gave him the wrong colour code at first . was my bad but he met me again with colour chips and matched up the colour and re-painted it all for a really reasonable fee. despite him being from sauga/brampton he still met me in oakville each time too. valance looks great, hit 'em up you won't be dissapointed! he also brought his scanner and cleared my CEL for me haha, great dude !

Bump for a good guy and good prices. I got my rear bumper painted about a week ago for my 20th (BMP) it turned out great. I'm now planning on getting my front and maybe hood painted as well! Summers coming quick!!

if anyone else wants in you've gotta do it sooner rather than later.... the shop is almost gutted I won't have access to the booth for much longer. Probably another 2-3 weeks max.
