I don't like the look of any of the leds or cambus led lights I have tried. All of them put more of a beam pattern to the left hand side of the plate not to mention with the 2012 gli it will still give a light icon but its easy to turn it off in vag com.

Im looking for something like this : " It says 2005+ but im not to sure about it working. "

    http://www.carpartslights.com/led-li...mk5-p-532.html

If theres nothing like that im just gonna buy this and point the leds where I want them.. I know its ghetto but theres no other option maybe this cars just too new?

You installed them in a jetta?

I did LEDs in mine using a mix of LEDs and GTi eliminators.

I don't have the left side pattern, but I couldn't see a way to mount them reversed from left to right. But at night the look even and no left light pattern.

No dash light error either :p

Not sure I thought they wouldn't because it says it won't throw a code but then again from what I heard the glis are weird when it comes to LEDs. I would contact ecs and see what they say.

I have the 5smd ones that go all around the bulb but I still have that left pattern it drives me insane lol I think im going to buy the wire that doesnt produce a code and angle the bulb straight down. I think thats the only way to do it. What bulbs do you have 4x?

I used the ECS Tuning LEDs for the plates thay the sell. Kinda small but at night they are sufficient. They don't throw any codes either. Sizable brand 194 type bulbs with 6 small SMLEDs.

Ah.. and I have a TDI. Anyone else have any problems with intermittent dimming during prolonged use of the interior Ziza kit lights?

Tried to ghetto rig it and one of my dam led bulbs went out figures. I think its worth it to wait around in till a actual license plate kit comes around I see around 3 of them for the gti and 0 for the jetta wtf!
