    The Fit is no more.

A woman pulled into my lane of traffic as I was quickly proceeding toward her (speed limit was 55, I was going around that rate). She saw me, froze up, and I decided I didn't want to slam into her so I swerved behind her thinking she would've scooted forward. I jumped a curb, took out the stop sign, and nailed the concrete piling of the fence, not to mention ripped out many bushes.

The cops (two of them) both said I saved her life by not t-boning her at 55mph. Her car was untouched because of my quick reaction and my car is now kaput. She received two citations.

Is this the Fit you just bought and threw a bunch of money into, or am I thinking of someone else?

Also, please specify the number of fents, crubs briks and brushes involved, it's protocol.

    Also, sucks.
how come a transvestite donkey witch is next to you and why is it wearing a dress?

Say 'what' again. Say 'what' again, I dare you, I double dare you mother****er, say what one more goddamn time!

This car is right at two months old and I have about ~$5k in parts in it, so yes, that's me.

One fents, some wood and some brick / concrete, many brushes.

No clue yet. It's been 3.5 hours and I'm very sore. Tomorrow is going to be much worse.

How's insurance going to handle it? Could it be determined that she was at fault even if you never touched her car?

Considering she admitted fault and was cited for it, yeah I think we're good to go.

Good thing you didn't treat her like a hedgehog as so many other CLers would have. Any loud knocking now? Go soak in a hot tub for while, it will help with the soreness tomorrow. Any uninvolved witnesses?

Edit: Insurance companies LOVE uninvolved witnesses even in obvious at fault cases.

No witnesses, but a guy in the neighborhood this was at the entrance of walked down after hearing the loud crunch.

The engine wasn't running after the wreck nor would it restart.

I need to find a fun rental car to drive for the next few weeks. I get to track it down tomorrow. Maybe a Fiat 500 or Scion iQ.

Sorry to see such a great Fit meet an untimely demise. I really liked your car.
John Cooper Works Mini Clubman as replacement maybe? Or even an S?
    Hope you heal quickly!

ROS was 55mph before I slammed on the brakes. I estimate 40mph into the fents. DS airbag deployed. No passenger so no PS airbag deployment.

I think if the OP just bought his Fit two months ago and was willing to spend $5k in mods, probably the next car he wants is another Fit..

Lucky that the woman admitted fault here, I could easily imagine her waltzing off after having the accident, with you being left having no evidence to corroborate your story.

Damn! My accident $.02... Get an ER checkup just to be sure... Get a lawyer, the paperwork is a PITA and you will benefit in the long run... then see a Chiropractor ASAP.

Good luck man, hopefully you'll walk away from this one unscathed.

I see one of these in the school parking lot once in a while, quite nice and never really see many on the roads.
