I am not up-to-speed on aircooled vehicles, but I have always wanted a slammed aircooled bug. I figure that is a good place to cut my teeth and learn the ins and outs. Regional classifieds are slim pickins' and the Samba cars are either out of my range or too far away. I have no car currently after selling my VR and I have very little money after splitting with my fiance. I am looking for something in the $1500 to $2000 range. Any advice would be appreciated.

That's Double his price range. Lol I stand by my last post. Man, air cooled is more pricy than you think. There is 12.5k super beetle for sale in the CL thread. Lol..!!!!!

I have a 70 bug but its in need of a tune cuz its not running right now besides its a baja with no roof
and i imagine you want a roof
....but you could still slam it!! that would be different
