Selling my 1982 Volkswagen Caddy with a B3 passat 2.0 16v

The body has around 250,000 miles on it and the engine has around 5,000 since its rebuild

The car runs and drives well motor is strong but does have some issues, may need motor mounts and clutch is starting to wear. Starts right up, idles rough when cold, runs alot better when it warms up. Eveything works, including the A/C. Shifts smooth

The body is 90% rust free, body is straight, strut towers are free of rust and the bed is clean

The interior is blue, free of any mold or other flaws and all parts are there, some wear and tear though

I'm asking 1,500 or Best Offer, Not interested in Trades

Your post states that the truck is 90% rust free.

Will post some pics when I get a chance, the only spots with rust are the drivers side door, 2x4 inch section fiberglassed over, couple spots of surface rust here and there, mainly around on inner door trim. Everything else is soild including the under carriage.

I've been doing some searching on the title issue

On the Vehicle the first digits of the vin are 1V1LG...., on the title it states 1LG...

Every other number on the title matches, including the serial sumber, but after doing searching and looking at the VIN decoder

W - Germany
1 - USA
3 - Mexico
9 - Brazil

2 - Manufacturer
B - VW of Brazil
V - Volkswagen


Not sure why the 1V is not listed on the title
