Hello all, thought I would post some pics of the progression of my basement. Not done yet, but almost!

I got the house with drywall already installed. I wanted to do the rest myself.

    Starting with the floors

Bought some lumbar and stones for a nice fireplace

    Fireplace progress:

    Thanks for the comment!

Has for the mason jar, I needed to be creative to keep the cost of the project low.
Before you ask, the crushed glass in the bar comes from a scrap yard. Mix of Maxima, civic, and sunfire side windows loll.
Took the porcelain of a spark plug to break them, had so much fun doing this!

Looks good. Although those light bulbs look real bright. You might consider getting some "vintage" light bulbs and a dimmer. That would go right along with the Mason jars too.

Thanks for the input spockcat. I already bought those kind of bulbs, but they don't fit in the jar! I need to buy smaller one. The current bulb in the jar was only to test it. They are too white indeed.

    Here's the one I have:

Man, I really like what you did with the bar. It gives me ideas for when I (eventually) get around to building my man-cave at some point in the future.

Good call on the lightbulb, that was going to be the only suggestion I had. The bar and fireplace look great.

That fireplace looks sooooo awesome!!! I want to do something similar with a fireplace and tv above it but with some bookshelves on the side. You make it look a lot less intimating than I ever thought.

Thanks for the comments, it's the first time that I'm doing all that stuff, I would like to thank DIY network loll

Done with the moldings. Next is to install my glass shelves in the bar, and finish the suspended lights, and hide the fuse pannel.

Then install the 47'' DEL and sound system
