*****************SOLD***********************
Up for sale is my 1965 Beetle AKA Dora. I saved this car from a life under a walnut tree a few years ago and have put a lot of time and effort into it since then.
I would also consider a trade for a nice 16V Scirocco or Pre TT Audi Coupe (must be a good running and driving car, NO PROJECTS!)
Here’s a list of the work that’s been done in the past year:
Installed nice fresh 1776 engine with single progressive carb (under 10k miles on it)
Re did all brakes
Installed new front wheel bearings
Installed new seat covers
Installed new Retrosound radio and Kick Panel speakers (radio currently disconnected, display was acting up and I haven't had time to investigate)
Repaired floor pan under the battery
New seals on rear pop outs
All general maintenance, lubrication, fluid changes etc.
This car is a great daily driver I commute 30 miles each way daily and this car is always up for the drive even in traffic without protest. I don’t drive it every day, but at least once a week when its nice out
What the car still needs:
It could use new door panels, the driver’s side is in rough shape below the map pocket (it’s an original though so I’ve kept it on)
To be perfect she could use a paint job, there are a few cracks and there was a little rust on the rear apron under the deck lid when I got it, car looks good though and if it were me I’d leave it alone for few more years.
Could use new window scrapers
I would and have driven this car anywhere including long drives in the mountains and to the beach. If you’re looking for a great driver or a starting place to make something really special this is it.
Please let me know if you have any questions

Truck will never go, was my grandpa's. It's the only one I would never part with. Still wrestling with selling the bug...The Scirocco fever is upon me.
If it doesn't go in the next few day's I'm taking it down and assuming its meant to stay with me for the duration.

Car was a champ. Total trip was 627 miles. Only casualties were the couple thousand bugs on the windshield.
Nice meeting you Ana
