    Its also right in the middle of town so you dont have to drive to get there, we just walked there from our hotel.

    The north Georgia mountains are beautiful. Get a map and pick a road, the entire area is nothing but scenic overlooks and scenic areas in general!

    No one needs to drive to Deals Gap. Just pick a road in any direction leaving helen and enjoy! Some of the best driving roads in the country up here and IMO better than Deals gap becuase no one is on them!!!

    Bear park looks like fun, so does the river tubing. Never done either.

    Truly looking forward to having some delicious beer, looking at VWs and not having to do anything else!

    do both the bear park in dead center in the town. and the rafting is a hell of a lot of fun just down wear anything that can come loose. it will and will be gone forever.

    Well worth the 2hr drive, especially if you've never been. It's a mean stretch of road, not meant for crazy low cars nor crappy tires/brakes or poorly maintained cars.
