Thread: Looking for a shop do install coilovers on a mkvi gti? quoted $300 can I do better?

    Going with either Koni's or FK Konigsports, which ever is on sale at the time. I thought there was a shop that carried FK in the bay, if there is please let me know. Thanks.

    not sure if they carry mk6 but i hear solo-werks is pretty good and they are on sale 499 shipped. check out sonic in mountain view or palo alto. ive heard goodthings about them

    i believe HOD can get them. 300 for an install alone is a great price considering how much work goes in to it.

    300 for a few (like 2hrs) hrs of work is More than the going rate. Even the dealer should be cheaper. if you where local I'd give you a hand.

    $300 is a good price..about 3 hrs work with the right tools
    and knowledge.

    I did sell a CD400 few yrs back. Still one of the best looking head units for a 90's vw.

    $300 is a good price, especially considering that Autowerkstat wanted $500
