    mkiv gti 2.0 automatic. The body is in pretty good shape. The interior was taken apart by p.o. but most pieces seem to still be there.I've had very little time to work on the car. Just got the car started. Car runs, trans seems sloppy. Wanted to check if Anyones interested in the car ASIs before I go too far. Cash or vw trades welcome. Shoot me some offers and or question..

    Golf?? last I checked they stopped 2.0 GTIs in 98.. I think, Could be wrong tho?
    Thought all MK4 GTI were 1.8t or VR6

    It's a 99.5, right?

    VW made 99.5 MK4 chassis cars called GTI with the 2.0. I think they had the sport suspension and other GTI parts instead of the regular golf parts. 99.5 hatches were only 2.0 or vr6, 2000 was the first model year of the 1.8t

    Yea it's a 99.5. All interior is black/ black leather except for the headliner, etc. Which made me believe it was a gti. Anyway... Thanks for info and bump

    Have Had no time at all for this car, too many projects going on. Want this thing gone now. $1200 as it sits now.. Willing to trade for some nice rims.
