A fresh start with Der schumpf

well.. i have owned this car in the past. Some of you may have seen it when the former owner had it SLAMMED on 13x8 ATS classics, with the full racing stripe. I havnt done much to the car yet.

I found an internal headgasket leak, and the valve seals decided to give way. I almost lost motivation and gave up. But due to a great tax return, new love was found so i started gathering parts to rebuild the smurf mobile LA5T jetta. The body isnt perfect, but **** lookin pretty. I take no credit for the front end set up, or really anything as of yet. Soon however ill be calling it MINE again. Onto pics yo!

and, the new motor. JH/ABA hybrid. just need to get some motor mounts, fluids, a header and a block off plate and she will be in very soon. oh, and a new clutch.

thanks! i love my rocco seats. i can get more pictues of interior if wanted. i have NO idea what the wheels are. the other three are presently being glass blasted to bare alu, and the one pictured is presently in primer.

So i found today that my trunk leaks a ****ton of rain water... what all could cause this?i was planning on putting my sub etc into it but with this awesome water bul up its probably not a great ida lol.. i cant see anything ripped/torn, so im at a loss.

is there anything i need to know about doing the JH/ABA swap on Digi2? I see lots of builds out there, but people seem to be running them on CIS (mk1's) or with Carbs.. which doesnt help wither. I think i have almost everything for the swap... any extra info would be AWESOME.
