2000 VR6 GTI Intake manifold question

I was wondering what these four little outlets were four on the back of the intake manifold there is a picture of them athttp://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...ck-on-a-12V-VR6[/I] the second picture down. The previous owner of my car broke three of them off and just capped the hoses and I am getting the CEL and emissions workshop warning. I havent had time to scan it yet as my dad is borrowing my scanner. It has a new cat and new o2 sensors and gets 31mpg on the highway if I baby it!
