ok - For some reason my right blinker is not working again! Left works fine and Hazards flash all 4 lights...I thought I fixed this issue by changing the turn signal stalk. It worked like it should for 3 separate hour long drives - but on my way home from NJ last night the right signal started fading when switched on and now it's not working at all again...almost like it was shorting out or something - is that possible?

I know it's probably something simple - but maybe this is just another common Fox fault

In the winter time my left side would stop working when the brake pedal is pushed....my tail light (wiring harness) connector was corroded pretty bad, I'd clean it up and it'd work for a week or so then I just conneted the ground wires via a jumper wire and it works fine now.....maybe check your electrical connetctor at the tail lights and check/clean your grounds

alright. I gotta check that out. I've had to take the tails out a few times over the last month - deleting the side marker - wonder if I jiggled something loose. I'll clean up any corrosion I see too.

Thanks for the tip - I will post my discoveries

I still haven't had a chance to check this out - I will this weekend - but something I noticed the last few times driving. It works for the first 10-15 every time. At one point it will flash once - then nothing and never come back. Only right hand turns. But flashers work fine at all times.

I actually got to the point that I cut the tail light pig-tail harness out and soldered the wires straight to the bulb holder

That was my next step......actually tried to cover the corroded ground male spade on mine with silver solder but can't get it to take/get hot enough without detsroying the tail light panel itself.

No corrosion on the tail harness at all. Clean as could be actually. It's as if once the car is warmed up - no right signal - but hazards continue to work at all times. Which grounds should I be checking?

Here's where I hooked up an aux ground wire on the drivers side tail light...... ....and the passengers side.... .....both wires are conected to a sanded bare spot below the trunk latch.....what's the chances yours are corroded in the front sockets ?

Ya know - I thought of that and didn't have much time left so only pulled the cover off and the bulb out to see if there was any build up - I'll have to pull out the fixture and check that next weekend. I really appreciate your effort to help me figure this out

You're welcome....that's what were here for. In the 1st pic you can see the harness conector at the bottom of the tail light panel....pop that off and that's where all my corrosion comes from and the reason I added the aux ground wires.....I'll pop mine out in the morning and get a pic of how nasty mine is.

The rear passenger side of my wagon - tail removed - there are three harnesses. Tail, side marker and this. I have to check drivers side to see if there is one of these as well. There are two or three female connections.

It's for the rear window washer pump, which I don't have.

It looks like all the grounds in the rear are on the left side panel for a Wagon. I guess I'll check all of those this weekend as well as the front blinker corrosion.

I finally fixed my blinker issue! There was a lose connector in the harness at the switch. It must have slipped out just enough that it was making a connection at first - but a few bumps later and it stopped working completely. Once I noticed there was power at the light (which made sense because the hazards worked) and there was power at the hazard switch - it had to be at the turn signal switch or somewhere in there - so simple!

Now I don't have to be that idiot using his hazards to change lanes to the right anymore - I am sure that went over well a few times
