Would help to know the year of the Eos your are looking at.

Hi
I am in the process of finding and buying an Eos.
I've found one which looks pretty perfect but it doesn't have an IPod connection, so I was hoping someone might have some advice on fitting a connection.
Is it possible and if so does anyone have any particular recommendations and an idea of the cost.
Thanks in advance

I plug into the stereo via the aux in the glovebox. $5 cord does the trick. I also have a lighter-plug charger that provides power via USB and wide apple connector. I have a lot of playlists, so its is usually just plug and go for several days. With the Dynaudio, it sounds great.
I've thought about getting a fancier setup that would allow me to control it through the MFD/steering wheel controls, but it just doesn't seem to be worth $3-500 with installation. The same setup works fine with my iPhone as well.

Hi
Thanks for both your comments.
It's a late 2008 model.
It doesn't have the aux in connection unfortunately.
Thanks

I took a look at the specs for the 2008 Eos. Edmunds lists an auxiliary mp3 audio input. That would be a stereo miniplug. I have an 2009 Eos Komfort with the auxiliary mp3 input and the ipod cable from VW. I don't use the ipod connector (30 pin Apple connector) but the mp3 audio input works just fine for me, using the headphone jack on the ipod. I suggest that you double check the 2008 for a stereo minplug jack inside the console box between, that's where it is on mine.
Good Luck

My aux connection is hard to find - stereo miniplug on the top of the glovebox on the far right. I think it might have been standard equipment in anything above the base model. I did not pay extra for mine anyway on a 2007 Lux. (Part of the trim package)
