I think you can. Just lay it in the block with the bearing in and test fit it..

    The stroke is different.

you can get your crank balanced at a machine shop.

Maybe not in Mexico but def in the US it is easy to find shops that do dynamic balancing of the entire rotating assembly.

I have a ABA 2.0 crank that will fit the 9A if you need it. I am not sure what shipping would be to Mexico. hit me up if you want it.

que onda no el ciguenial del 1.8 16v (PL) no va a quedar en el bloque de 2.0 16v (9A), el que si queda es de 2.0 ABA .
Tengo varios cigueniales de 2.0 ABA si te interesan

yes the stroke is different, but if you want more drivable power the rods are the same length.

it looks good to go.. I can only speak from personal experience, but I put a diesel crank95.5mm in my 9a block. it fit like a glove no problems. With the pl block I would worry about clearance.

I doubt your crank is out of balance. I balance engines at a machine shop and inline cranks are almost never out enough to shake noticeably. I think you'll find you have another problem.
