    Density Line Dogbone Mount Pair

034Motorsport's Density Line Mounts are the new standard in comfort and performance. Our mounts are redesigned with performance in mind, and manufactured from high-durometer rubber for increased performance and durability, without sacrificing comfort. Density Line Mounts are void-free and fluid-free, eliminating the slop associated with the factory mount.

The Density Line Dogbone Mount Pair is manufactured from 60 durometer rubber, which is approximately 35% stiffer than stock. Since the mounts are also void-free and solid-filled, the resulting mount is approximately 85% stiffer than stock.

The result is greatly reduced drivetrain slop, crisper shifting, and minimal wheel hop, without any significant increase in noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin. These mounts are a completely re-engineered performance solution, not just inserts for use with the factory mount.

    Features:
    • Manufactured from 60 Durometer Rubber with Void-Free Construction
    • Reduced Drivetrain Slop
    • Decreased Engine Movement Under Load
    • More Direct Power Transfer
    • Improved Shifting Feel
    • Complete Drop-In Replacement of Factory Mounts
    • Sold in Pairs

    Fitment:
    • 2006 - 2013 Audi A3 (8P)
    • 2006 - 2013 Audi TT / TTS / TTRS (8J)
    • 2005 - 2009 Volkswagen Eos / GLI / GTI / Jetta / R32 / Rabbit (MkV)
    • 2010 - 2013 Volkswagen Eos / GLI / Golf / GTI / Jetta / R (MkVI)

    Installation Instructions:

    Warranty:
    • 1 Year Limited Replacement Warranty (If you encounter any issues with our products outside of the warranty period, we will work with you to provide a resolution.)

    Retail Price: $60
    Group Buy Price: $45

    Street Density:

The Street Density Engine Mount Pair is manufactured from 60 durometer rubber, which is approximately 35% stiffer than stock. Since the mounts are also void-free and solid-filled, the resulting mount is approximately 60% stiffer than stock. The cast aluminum mount bodies have also been redesigned to cope with the added stress of spirited driving.

The result is greatly reduced drivetrain slop, crisper shifting, and minimal wheel hop, without any significant increase in noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin. These mounts are a completely re-engineered performance solution, not just inserts for use with the factory mounts.

    Track Density:

The Track Density Engine Mount Pair is manufactured from 80 durometer rubber, which is approximately 90% stiffer than stock. Since the mounts are also void-free and solid-filled, the resulting mount is approximately 120% stiffer than stock. The cast aluminum mount bodies have also been redesigned to cope with the added stress of spirited driving.

The result is a locked-down drivetrain, solid shifting, and virtually no wheel hop. Track Density Mounts will cause a noticeable increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin. These mounts are a completely re-engineered performance solution, not just inserts for use with the factory mounts.

    Features:

Manufactured from 60 Durometer (Street Density) or 80 Durometer (Track Density) Rubber with Void-Free Construction
    Reduced Drivetrain Slop
    Decreased Engine Movement Under Load
    More Direct Power Transfer
    Improved Shifting Feel
Complete Drop-In Replacement of Factory Engine/Transmission Mounts
Sold in Pairs (One Engine Mount & One Transmission Mount)

    Fitment:
    • 2006 - 2013 Audi A3 (8P) - 2.0T FSI / 2.0 TSI / 3.2L 24V VR6
    • 2006 - 2013 Audi TT / TTS (8J) - 2.0T FSI / 2.0 TSI / 3.2L 24V VR6
    • 2005 - 2009 Volkswagen Eos / GLI / GTI / Jetta / R32 (MkV) - 2.0T FSI / 2.0 TSI / 3.2L 24V VR6
    • 2010 - 2013 Volkswagen Eos / GLI / Golf / GTI / R (MkVI) - 2.0 TSI

    Warranty:
    • 1 Year Limited Replacement Warranty (If you encounter any issues with our products outside of the warranty period, we will work with you to provide a resolution.)

    Retail Price: $240
    Group Buy Price: $195

    High-Durometer Rubber vs. Polyurethane:

Density Line Mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane for a number of reasons. While vulcanized rubber mounts are more expensive to prototype due to increased complexity of manufacturing and high initial tooling costs, rubber is inherently better than polyurethane as a damping medium for mounts and bushings.

Rubber is able to deal with stress under both tension and compression, while polyurethane mounts rely on the damping medium to be effective only under compression. Rubber is also excellent in shear, where polyurethane is ineffective, making it ideal for control arm bushings that apply a shear force to the bushing during articulation.

Rubber does not pack and wear like polyurethane does, which ultimately results in a long-lasting part with consistent performance and comfort.

    Street Density vs. Track Density:

We recommend Street Density Mounts for all daily-driven vehicles. They offer a significant increase in performance with a minimal increase in NVH transfer into the cabin. Track Density Mounts are recommended for purpose-built track cars, or those who do not mind significantly increased engine noise and vibration in the cabin.

Shipping is not included in the price, but our UPS Ground and FedEx Home Delivery rates are very reasonable. You can expect anywhere from $7-$15 to ship a full set of mounts within the lower 48.

The factory hardware can be reused, or we can supply new bolts for the Engine Mount Pair for $10.

Bought the street density engine/transmission mounts during the black friday sale from 034 guys last year (great price), and very happy with them so far. Holding up good, and they perform the same way as the bsh mounts I had, but without the vibrations.

Very interested in the dog bone mount.
So this would render the bsh torque mount insert useless?
I'm so tired of the unnecessary vibrations all day.

I don't see the CC listed? 2011 tsi here.

This mount pair eliminates the need for any metal or polyurethane dogbone inserts.

It fits all transverse-engine 2.0T FSI / 2.0 TSI vehicles; I'll add the CC to the list.

As far as I know, HPA's insert only replaces one of the two halves (the bottom one). This makes installation a bit shorter, but does still rely on the factory upper mount.

Our mounts are sold in pair, so you'd be replacing the upper mount as well.

You could use just one of our mounts on the bottom, but we don't recommend it, since the factory upper mount is still being used.

Installation instructions are available in the first post, in case you're curious about the installation process, as replacing both mounts is more involved than just the bottom one.

I'll shoot you a PM about the Group Buy.

Are there any comparisons with these mounts to the standard Stage 1 or autotech insert from a NVH perspective? How about driving dynamics?

We've installed them on a number of local cars, and customers (especially DSG owners) felt that there was less vibration with these mounts versus the metal and/or polyurethane inserts, and that shifting was more crisp than before.

Why not. I was going to go BFI with the Autotech but I like the rubber idea a bit better. Excellent marketing, sold me. Just not looking forward to the install fee that I'll have to pay for the dogbone piece.

Install will be under an hour with the right tools.

I will have this installed by Friday, and will share both install and performance thoughts.

Having a front sway installed at the same time. Wasn't as bad as I thought for both since the subframe gets dropped either way.

Just REALLY REALLY hoping the vibes on these are = or < the Autotech insert. Would suck so hard to have to find someone local that wanted it that would trade me their actual subframe lol.

About a week later the mounts feel like they have broken in a bit. The vibration is no where near as rough.. But still give the excellent characteristics of a planted feel.

If you haven't jumped on this yet, do it.

This makes me very happy to read.

Reason being is as soon as a friend of mine saw I bought the mounts, which came in on Saturday btw, he said I would regret installing the subframe mount. Said the vibes will make me hate the car.

I shifted my plan slightly because of this. I'm going to do the engine/trans mount first with the autotech in and see how it feels before I do the permanent mod.

This definitely looks promising. Have some questions though.

I'm going KO4 in a few weeks. I have the DSG trans which I'll be getting the Stage 2 Unitronic DSG tune. I currently have this:

I like it, but feel there might be some room for improvement. The in-cabin vibration is pretty much non existent with this current setup after sometime of usage.

I've been going back and forth with HPA in possibly getting this:

HPA Core Interlock Performance Motor Mount:http://www.hpamotorsport.com/mounts.htm

Can you tell me why your mount would be superior over what I currently have, the BSH kit, and why it would be superior over what I was just about to purchase, the HPA Interlock Mount?

By the way they guys over at HPA recommended their red mount which is the 75 durometer. I believe your's is even softer at 60, correct?

I'm not to sure what durometer the BSH Torque Mount Insert is.

As mentioned before, I've been going back and forth with HPA for over 3 months on their product. Please be as deatailed as possibe. I'm really anal about stuff like this.

Convince me and you have your next purchase.

What's the status on this group buy? I've sent a PM to the OP but there's no reply. Can someone from 034 chime in?
