I curbed Black Betty today at the bank drive thru I scratched the hell out of the rear drivers side rim along about 4 inches of its perimeter.

Can anyone recommend a touch up/paint kit to fix the rim? Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to me. I had the rim refinished back to new for $125.

Did you just go to your local auto body shop?

The dealership did it for me. Had a bad family vacation which let to my rims getting scratch up badly. One of them actually got slightly bent. The dealership made them look brand new, fixed everything right up.

Thanks for the info. I am going to go to the body shop tomorrow and get an estimate. If it is unreasonable, then I will also check at the dealership.

So I went to the body shop I usually go to for work and they said that they do not repair rims. I then called the VW service department and they said that they also do not repair rims but they do have a guy come in every other Tuesday to do all the rim work. So I called that guy and he quoted me $45 to fix my rim. Thank goodness.
