SOWO Relay for Life!

Once again, SOWO will be partnering with the American Cancer Society to raise money for Relay for Life. My wife Tina will be on hand during Friday night pre-registration and Saturday during regular show hours to accept donations in honor of all those in our community whose lives have been affected by this disease.

Every year we go to great efforts to ensure you have plenty to enjoy at no cost to you. Please help those who can't enjoy basic things at any cost. Our goal for 2012 is for every participant to donate $1.00. Please look for the purple balloons moving around the crowd and be prepared to give some small amount and let's show everyone what this community can do!

There will only be 50 available and the money you spend will go to help a good cause. The minimum price for getting a limited edition SOWO keychain is $10 [additional fee of $3 if you want it shipped to you if you cannot attend SOWO] paid as a "GIFT" through Paypal at Westerwald1753@aol.com. Hope some good comes from this, I'm reading all the negative lately about us, let's see some good. Hell, it's a free show, I think everyone could give what they normally would to register at H2Oi or Waterfest, or Vagfair.

At a show that has 3000+ registered, which is absolutely free to enter and attend, it should be easy for everyone to donate at least $5 each and personally, I have no problem paying $25, which is what it cost for Waterfest and personally I think SOWO is better. I think someone should stand at the entrance and take donations as everyone enters and take pics of those who do and post them up as a montage online of those who gave, or better yet, those who didn't. I personally challenge everyone to be one of 50 to give $10 or more and get a SOWO keychain that only 50 people will have and see what we can do when people give with their hearts.

you know i will be one of those!

to this point...last year the group of people from Greenville,SC had no clue that their was even a charity to donate to/for....as soon as we returned home we began a massive email/facebook/vortex charge to get some donation.....after only a week'ish we gathered over $700 to send to Chris and his wife....

bring an extra $5 with you....thats only a couple beers and goes to a way better cause that your what will already be horrible hang over!
