    hey guys,
i was told today by my mechanic that i'd need a full set of brakes very soon.
i found the stock OEM discs for a good price online.i'm ok with that,but..

    Q:does anyone make/sell the OEM 334mm (13.1") R32 2-piece rotors in drilled form?

i kinda like drilled discs,i had them on my previous VW.they worked well in the rain, etc. and they look pretty cool.
i was just trying to research my options ,now that i need to get new ones soon.
i did a quick search around to most of the big aftermarket companies (TT,RapidParts,GAP,etc.) and nobody seems to have the front discs *in drilled form*.i'll be more than happy to run the standard discs, but i was curious if they were made at all.
    thanks for any suggestions.
    I my R32

Not a 2-piece but cross drilled Adams Rotors
Zimmerman makes them too but for some reason I can only find the rears.

Do not buy anything other than a two piece disc....the two posts above are talking about the wrong discs as they are solid and cheap....they will not provide the cooling a two piece disc will.

    Whoops, sorry.

Didn't pay attention to the 2 piece intention.

    Carry on.

i've seen this type of thing before.i'm not certain if it's an error,or they make the disc slightly smaller so that the pads can sweep the entire disc.when worn--you don't get that 'lip' on the bottom and top of the disc like on the stock ones.

mdubcajka12, i found the OEM ones on Parts.com for $148.75ea for the fronts, and about $60ea for the rears.that's the best price i was able to find.they had two different prices for rears.one was $37.38 and one was $59.80 i guess they were 2 diff. brands? i'll have to look again to see if i read their pricing right.

i'll just stick with the stock discs.thank you.

The disc to pad running like that is not right.....a lip on the disc shows that the full pad is incontact with the disc at all times....

Just make sure the parts you are buying look like this and the part numbers match...
